Sarah Strohmeyer's The Cinderella Pact tells of the diet-spurred transformation of Nola Devlin, a frumpy editor at the Us Weekly-ish Sass! Source of Angst Nola's biggest secret — that she's been posing as star columnist (and hot British babe) Belinda Apple — starts to unravel. Weighty Issues Nola and two girlfriends make the titular pact to drop their extra pounds, inspired by (faux) Belinda's column touting her own (faux) drastic weight loss.
