Details Limited Release: Jun 09, 2006; Rated: Unrated; Length: 115 Minutes; With: Moritz Bleibtreu and Herbert Knaup; Distributor: First Run Features

The three messed-up adult children spawned by one perverse SOB of a father in the German dysfunctional-family drama Agnes and His Brothers ought to get together with the damaged brood from The Celebration and share pan-European miseries. Munich's Moritz Bleibtreu plays the clammy librarian brother who's a Peeping Tom; another's a politician who defecates on the floor, while the third's a sad trannie (i.e., Agnes). Writer-director Oskar Roehler spends all his energy on cataloging ''outrageous'' behavior, and none on giving the transgressions any meaning.
