A kitschy faux-Mexican idiot-slob wrestling comedy starring Jack Black and his noble, blubbery bod. Black, looking like Avery Schreiber in the old Doritos commercials, plays a monk who dreams of becoming a Lucha Libre wrestler. The film tries for a so-stupid-it's-smart vibe, but it's mirthless.
