Bjork, Iceland's most riveting pop export is still very much alive and relevant, so this remastered retrospective — which collects her astounding five studio albums, two soundtracks, and 26 videos on seven dual discs — seems somewhat premature. Still, fanatics will discover previously hidden wonders within the new surround-sound mixes; labyrinthine highlights Vespertine (2001) and Medúlla (2004) work particularly well across six speakers. As a luxurious treat for obsessives, Surrounded successfully revitalizes some of the most ambitious pop music of the last 13 years.
