Still, fanatics will discover previously hidden wonders within the new surround-sound mixes; labyrinthine highlights Vespertine (2001) and Medúlla (2004) work particularly well across six speakers. As a luxurious treat for obsessives, Surrounded successfully revitalizes some of the most ambitious pop music of the last 13 years.
