Tim O'Reagan (2006)

Remember how George Harrison issued All Things Must Pass and everybody wondered why he'd never been one of the Beatles' primary contributors? Jayhawks fans might feel that way after hearing Tim O'Reagan's solo bow Tim O'Reagan...even though, as drummer, he was the Ringo of the group. With hazy hooks that land somewhere between Rubber Soul and New Morning, along with dashes of Jimmy Webb and Nilsson, almost anything here would've benefited the old band's oeuvre. Only hitch: He seems to place the same premium on sleepiness as his former bosses.
