Thirty years ago, the disturbing TV movie about a woman with 16 distinct personalities launched Field as a serious actress. Today, Sybil still packs one helluva punch particularly when Field, guided by Woodward's Dr. Wilbur, revisits the abuse her vicious mother (Martine Bartlett) inflicted on her as a child. EXTRAS In a revealing featurette, Field and Woodward recall details of the often grueling production, but the juiciest bits come from screenwriter Stewart Stern, who dishes on how Natalie Wood stopped speaking to him after he turned her down for the lead.
