Will no one cut the former Vice President of the United States a fashion break? Ever since he accepted dubious campaign advice about the vote-getting potential of a wardrobe rich in earth-tone colors of mud and straw, the man's exterior has been scrutinized with mercilessness more appropriately applied to Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen. If you ask me — and you do — only an amateur in the ways of bugs, thorns, poisonous plants, sunburn, and other tropical perils wears anything but long pants and a long-sleeved shirt in a rain forest. Now let me ask you a question: Do you think advocacy documentaries have the power to change people's minds — and inspire action — or do you think they speak only to the like-minded?
