Details Limited Release: Jul 14, 2006; Rated: R; Length: 76 Minutes; Genre: Comedy; With: William H. Macy and Joe Mantegna; Distributor: First Independent Pictures

Dating from the 1982 Off Broadway stage, and showing its proscenium origins in Re-Animator director Stuart Gordon's vague urban freshening, Edmond posits that the fury of a sexist, racist psychopath lies just beneath the surface of even the mildest man. In other words, we're in David Mamet World. William H. Macy — the quintessential player of Mamet men in all their impacted rage — stars in this claustrophobic adaptation, with Joe Mantegna doing his traditional part as a cold male animal offering advice best left untaken.
