Feast (2006)

At last: the semi-eagerly awaited result of online filmmaking competition Project Greenlight's final season. The release date for this seriocomic splatter flick (about strangers trapped in a bar, fending off monsters) has been pushed back so many times, we feared it lost forever — but we are finally able to give the floor to director John Gulager. He's earned it. ''It's a pretty fun film,'' he says. ''It's pop. I don't know if anyone wants me to say that, but I think that's a good thing. It has a little bit of John Waters in it. We have a monster penis and things like that. You know, it's a different approach.''
