PETTYFER
Stormbreaker: Liam Daniel
Sixteen-year-old film novice Alex Pettyfer plays 14-year-old Alex Rider, the orphaned, mystery-solving teen spy from Anthony Horowitz's best-selling Harry Potter-meets-James Bond book series. Ewan McGregor is the uncle who can't protect the young master Rider from nefarious forces, Mickey Rourke is a villain looking to wreak havoc on British schools, and Bill Nighy, so good in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, shows up as a heartless intelligence officer named Mr. Blunt. ''He's described in the book as a gray man with gray hair, gray eyes, gray spectacles, and a gray mind,'' says Nighy. ''I was encouraged to lighten it up a bit.''
