Man of the Year: Ava Gerlitz
''The last [election] there were buttons that would say Jon for president and me for vice president,'' says Lewis Black. Jon, of course, is Stewart, Black's boss on The Daily Show and one of the models for Robin Williams' character in Barry Levinson's film; he plays Tom Dobbs, a satirical political comedian who runs for America's highest office and wins, only to discover that a voting-machine error was to blame (sound familiar?). Black, who plays his speechwriter, hopes that the people who made those buttons were kidding. ''I just always respond that I would just use the position to get laid.''
