CRAIG (L.) AND JONES
Infamous: Deana Newcomb
A year after Philip Seymour Hoffman's Oscar-winning Capote, Douglas McGrath's rival Truman show, which was filmed around the same time, is ready for its closeup. But is there really more to tell about the author's life during the period he penned In Cold Blood? ''There's no way you can say everything there is to be said about him in one film,'' insists McGrath, who delves deeper into Capote's extravagant nightlife. His secret weapon is Toby Jones, who embodies Capote like no one since... well, you know. ''You're thinking it's impossible that you could have someone who's just as brilliant as Hoffman,'' McGrath says. ''But just you wait.''
