With a lineup ranging from Jerry Springer to Joey ('scuse us: Joe) Lawrence, we'd suggest the pro-dancer partners invest in some steel-toed shoes. Exec producer Izzie Pick says Springer has been ''absolutely hilarious in his training so far,'' though to be fair, she means Jerry's good at self-deprecating jokes. Asked how right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson is doing, exec producer Conrad Green responds, ''He said he's happier being shot at as a war reporter than with the idea of going out on the dance floor.'' So who's the biggest surprise? NFL legend Emmitt Smith: ''Nimble — he's definitely got the steps.'' Pick says viewers are into ''watching the journey of each of our celebrities,'' but don't a lotta people just want to watch Mario Lopez fall down?
