''We've got singing white supremacists, cannibals, and Michael J. Fox,'' announces exec producer Janet Leahy. James Spader will handle the supremacists, and there will be a resolution to season 2's cliff-hanger, which had Daniel (Michael J. Fox) asking Julie Bowen's Denise to marry him. ''We'll hear the answer in the season opener, but as usual it won't be typical,'' says Leahy. Hey, we don't expect typical from a David E. Kelley show. What else? Beyond revealing that Candice Bergen will become reinvolved with guest star Tom Selleck, Leahy says, ''the episodes are as much of a surprise to us as the viewers. We don't know where our minds are going to take us.'' In other words, expect many long, pinko, Kelley-written courtroom summations delivered by Spader.
