Here's the thing about anime: It's not about story, it's about emotion, getting you to feel what the characters are feeling. Watching Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa a feature spin-off from the cult-hit series that airs on Cartoon Network don't expect it to make much sense. You'll never really know why it's set in post-WWI Germany and the mysterious realm called Shamballa, or why the lead is a limbless orphan whose brother's soul inhabits a suit of armor (sometimes). Just go with it. EXTRAS A quaint, strange Japanese making-of doc.
