I'm Alan Partridge features an excruciatingly funny antihero, British comedian Coogan's Alan Partridge, a self-aggrandizing dolt who rivals — and predates — Ricky Gervais' similarly cringeworthy David Brent (The Office). This six-ep season finds the smarmy talk-show host DJ'ing the predawn slot on a rural radio station, living in a roadside motel, and scheming to get on TV again. Partridge is bleakly hilarious.
