Freed of TV's restrictions, Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert, and Paul Dinello gleefully indulge in myriad raunchy jokes in the film Strangers With Candy, a kind of ''prequel'' to their cult Comedy Central series. Sedaris is 47-year-old high school freshman Jerri Blank, who leans on teachers Colbert and Dinello for guidance in this warped version of an after-school special.
EXTRAS
Caustic yet warm commentary by the three leads. Colbert cheekily notes that the big-screen version of Candy is ''an homage to ourselves.''
Dinello responds, ''No one else is going to homage us.''
