You know the story: Dr. Jekyll (The Hoff) becomes his own patient in a doping experiment that unleashes murderous alter ego Mr. Hyde (The Hoff with his hair down). At first, this Broadway production of Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical is annoyingly adequate. Then things get ''good'' at 45:31, when Hasselhoff takes on ''This Is the Moment'' and confuses gesturing with acting (his vibrato, meanwhile, rivals Tiny Tim's). And at 53:21, they're ''even better'' with the first close-up of Hyde, all wild-eyed and heavy-breathing like a caveman.
