''Babel had a lot of good moments for me, but I particularly like the scene where I had to carry Cate,'' recalls Pitt of the arduous sequence in which Blanchett has been shot and he must lift her, bleeding and anguished, and run through the dusty streets of a remote Moroccan village to a doctor. ''We had to do it about 20 times, downhill and uphill in the heat. It was quite a workout.'' Blanchett seconds that, but admits, ''I didn't mind getting dirty. [Working with] Brad was easy. He really threw himself into this part. He helped carry me, literally and figuratively.''
