Deschanel's Dr. Temperance ''Bones'' Brennan is a detached genius determining cause of death from mounds of bones. Boreanaz's FBI agent Booth is the strong lawman paired with Brennan to solve fascinating (and gross) mysteries. The chemistry between these two is a joy.
