It would be a mistake to describe Police Story, Jackie Chan's 1985 kung-fu cop film, as timeless. After all, one scene does have the Hong Kong action star moon-walking. But Chan's non-pop-rocking stunts still sizzle, including one seriously high-impact encounter with a bus. Nobody combines kicks and comedy like Chan...except perhaps Jean-Claude Van Damme, but that's unintentional.
