In ''Legally Blonde,'' Reese Witherspoon turns Harvard Law on its ear. But would the Ivy accept an application video of a hot-tubbing hopeful? And would a Chihuahua be allowed in class?
No objections to the bubbly tape, but it probably wouldn't matter to admissions honchos. ''On occasion, applicants do submit videos, CD-ROMs, and books, but there's no guarantee they'll be looked at,'' says a school spokesman. ''They're encouraged to express who they are through the written word.'' He says each year the school receives about 6,000 applications, which may include more videos thanks to ''Blonde.'' As for the pooch: Only ''service animals, like Seeing Eye dogs,'' are allowed in class. All other pets are legally banned.
