'ROCK' WITH YOU After two years of recording at a reported cost of $30 million, Michael Jackson's first studio album since 1995, ''Invincible,'' finally has a release date. It's October 30, which misses the 2001 Grammy eligibility deadline by a month, but video shoots and preparations for Jackson's upcoming 30th-anniversary-of-his-solo-career concerts are delaying the release. The first single will be ''You Rock My World,'' a five-and-a-half minute tune written and produced by Jackson and R&B whiz Rodney Jerkins that opens with Jackson bantering with Chris Tucker over whether Jackson can ''get'' a girl they've just spotted. Two New York radio stations gave listeners an unauthorized preview last Friday, playing the song about 12 times each before a Sony official called and told them to desist. The single will be released today at 2:45 EST simultaneously on radio and at MichaelJackson.com.

HAN: SOLO Harrison Ford and wife Melissa Mathison are splitting, and this time they mean it. Mathison, the screenwriter of ''E.T.'' and ''Kundun,'' filed for legal separation yesterday in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences. Ford and Mathison had announced a split last November, but the pair apparently didn't stay far apart for long; Ford reportedly came home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and by April, People magazine was quoting friends saying that the couple was ''definitely back together.'' Ford and Mathison have been married for 18 years. Mathison is seeking joint custody of their two kids: Malcolm, 14, and Georgia, 11. Ford's manager said of the couple, ''They remain very friendly and very amicable.''
