HEALTH WATCH A respiratory infection has led Janet Jackson to cancel yesterday's concert in Birmingham and postpone tonight's already rescheduled concert in Philadelphia. Viruses and infections have plagued Jackson throughout her ''All for You'' tour, resulting in several postponements. The Philadelphia show, postponed from Tuesday until today, will now be rescheduled for October 23. The singer issued a statement, saying, ''I greatly regret having to inconvenience my fans, but I think the time has come to follow the advice of my doctors and not my heart -- to take the time to rest so that I can return 100 percent on September 3rd,'' in Cleveland....
Singer-songwriter Billy Joe Shaver suffered a heart attack last Saturday after a performance in New Braunfels, Texas. The 62-year-old ''Honky Tonk Heroes'' singer canceled a show earlier this week in Austin to see a doctor, who has scheduled him for quintuple bypass surgery today.
