Julie Andrews, Mira Sorvino, Barbara Hershey, and Anthony LaPaglia have all canceled plans to promote their movies at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain, citing the terrorist tragedy. A publicist for Andrews, who was to have received a lifetime achievement award, said in a statement, ''In these terrible moments of loss, sadness, and emotion for so many people, Miss Andrews firmly thinks that, while the entire world is mourning, it would be a gesture of insensitivity on her part to attend the festive act.''
LEGAL BRIEF Yasmine Bleeth may face drug and alcohol charges after she lost control of her car in a minor car accident near Detroit on Wednesday night, E! reports. On her way to the Detroit airport, the former ''Baywatch'' and ''Nash Bridges'' star ran her car onto a highway median. Neither she nor her unidentified male passenger were hurt. (Bleeth has reportedly been dating a Detroit nightclub owner) The police who responded said she failed a sobriety test and had in her purse four syringes containing what they believed to by liquid cocaine and a plastic bag with cocaine residue. Bleeth was held overnight in the Romulus, Michigan, jail. She may have to return to Michigan in a few weeks when the blood test results come back from the lab. She could be charged with misdemeanor DUI and felony drug posession and face a one- to seven-year prison sentence. Bleeth, 33, spent time in rehab last year for an undisclosed addiction.
