Details Release Date: Oct 02, 2001; Movie Rated: PG-13; Genre: Comedy; With: Gene Hackman, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sigourney Weaver; Distributor: United Artists (MGM)

Crammed into low-cut tops and high-cut skirts, Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt play trampy mother-daughter con artists who target rich men in Heartbreakers. Unfortunately, Weaver's patrician demeanor makes her too classy to be convincing in the bad-mama role. Hewitt doesn't fare much better, though some would argue her support attire deserves a special achievement award. Speaking of awards, even Oscar winner Gene Hackman -- as a chain-smoking billionaire -- can't make up for the script's predictable plot twists and obvious jokes. Heartbreaking is more like it.
