What was the grossest part of ''Survivor: Africa?''
The grossest thing was most definitely the water. It was an elephant toilet. It wasn't very deep. I'm like, what are those things swimming in there? I never even wanted to put my butt in there because I was afraid of all the things that would swim places they shouldn't be. Even after boiling the water you didn't want to drink it. I don't know if I could have done it for much longer. I'm glad I got kicked off first.
Speaking of getting kicked off first, are you going to have a breakdown on TV in front of Bryant Gumbel after all this is over?
I don't think I'm like Debb. I felt sorry for her. Being the first one off is kind of like a stigma but it's an honor too. People remember the first one off and the last one off. But everyone will remember I went out with my integrity and dignity.
Did your Africa hairdo take much planning?
I've been taking a lot of slams for my hairdo, but I've been doing that since 1988, shaving it underneath like that. It gets really hot carrying mail around in Nebraska. I thought my hair was kind of rockin.'
Are you back to carrying mail?
Right now they've got so many rules on us I'm almost sick of it. We had an anthrax scare in Nebraska two weeks ago. The police and FBI were there and it turned out to be false. Little ol' Lincoln, Nebraska is not even safe. I'm carrying mail again but it doesn't hold the same meaning because I've been to Africa!
Did you stay around in Africa after you got the boot?
I went on a safari. We saw a million flamingoes. I saw the Indian Ocean and swam. The sunrises and sunsets there are awesome. They're so unobstructed.
Any endorsement deals yet?
I hope something happens. Why wouldn't I? I want to learn how to ride a motorcycle. A couple of buddies of mine ride Harleys. They're way rockin'. I could be a biker chick. I'm very adventurous. I'm ready. Just let them know.
