If Michael Jackson gets his way, 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys won't just perform on the same bill in Washington, D.C., on Sunday -- they'll also join their voices together in super-boy-band harmony. Jacko is trying to get all the artists attending Sunday's ''United We Stand -- What More Can I Give?'' benefit at RFK Stadium to perform together in an all-star encore, according to the show's executive producer, Larry Magid.
But that's just the beginning of the possibilities for collaborations. Magid, a producer of 1985's ''Live Aid'' -- the show that treated millions to the spectacle of Mick Jagger shimmying with Tina Turner and Bob Dylan mumbling with Keith Richards -- tells EW.com that many artists, including 'N Sync and BSB, are still busy working out plans for Sunday's concert. ''They were among the first acts that called us,'' Magid said. ''[Backstreet and 'N Sync] said, if we can come together as competing entities, if we could put our differences aside, or our rivalry aside, wouldn't this set a great example -- and bingo, it's right in front of your eyes.''
