House: Mike sanderson; Buster Keaton: AP/Wide World

Buster Keaton's 1926 mansion has been restored. Saved from demolition in 1998 by two developers who paid $5 million, the 17,000-square-foot Italian villa has secret passages and hidden rooms, plus a guesthouse, a pool house, and a tennis pavilion with two bedroom suites and a gym. Across the street from Charlie Chaplin's former home, the property has been occupied by such Hollywood legends as James Mason, Marlene Dietrich, and Cary Grant. (Loren Judd and Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency have the listing.)
