Kiss and Tell

Ever wonder what it's like to kiss Britney Spears? ''Quite nice,'' says actor Anson Mount, who locks lips with the pop princess in her film debut ''Crossroads,'' due in February. ''I could tell you what I told my fraternity brothers,'' Mount teases, ''but I'd get in big trouble.'' The 28-year-old actor, who also appears with Robert De Niro in next fall's ''City by the Sea,'' says the make-out session was tense at first -- so he kicked it up a notch. ''After we kissed a couple times, I took a big spoonful of minced garlic and washed it around my mouth real good,'' he recalls. ''When we did the scene, Brit amazingly kept a straight face. After they yelled 'Cut,' I asked her, 'Did you even taste that?' And she goes, 'Oh, sweetie, I just didn't want to hurt your feelings.'''
