Rocker's Retreat

4 BR, 5.5 BTH one-story spread in Bel Air PRICE $3.99 million

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is livin' large. Just four months after throwing down nearly $4 million for a home in L.A.'s tony west-side 'hood, Durst is selling the place. Why? It ain't his style. (He's now looking for an authentic Spanish-style dwelling.) The sale house, meanwhile, was built in 1969 for Robby Krieger of the Doors. (Joe Babajian and Kevin Watson of Prudential Estates have the listing.) The entire 6,700-square-foot home wraps around a large courtyard with a pool, spa, and outdoor bar. Inside there's a media room and a state-of-the-art stereo system. If that's not enough inspiration for a musician, there's also a stone wall carved with a mural of the Doors.
