How much do we see of ''Sex in the City'''s Kim Cattrall as Britney's mom?
Cattrall's role is tiny. She appears in a single brief scene. Dan Aykroyd, as Lucy's overprotective pop, has a much larger role.
Is Britney, um, not that innocent in ''Crossroads''?
The underage Lucy hangs out in a bar and gets drunk in a hotel room (having fun in the process), but we see her hung-over and regretting it later. And while she hops into bed with two different guys, there's nothing in this PG-13 flick that's any more racy than, say, her ''Don't Let Me Be The Last to Know'' video. The first would-be sex scene is played for laughs -- when Lucy decides she's not ready to go through with it, the guy begins to beg. ''We've been lab partners for three years,'' he pleads to an underwear-clad Lucy. As for the scene with the other guy -- well, let's just say that you don't see anything.
Does the movie really deal with teen pregnancy and date rape?
Yup. Both are intertwined in one character's situation -- along with teen alcohol abuse. But it's Lucy's friend Mimi, not Lucy herself, who faces those issues. The closest Lucy comes to any peril is when a frat-dude accosts her with ''A Night at the Roxbury''-style dancing at a bar. Of course, he ends up getting punched out by Lucy's soon-to-be-boyfriend.
Any unexpected cameos?
Only spiky-haired ex-MTV VJ Jesse Camp -- does that count?
