''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' (8 p.m., UPN)
Buffy is framed for murder. Hey, she died, she came back to life -- it's very possible that she could go to jail.

''Women of the Games: Going for the Gold'' (9 p.m., E!)
A ''where are they now?'' ode to Olympians turned celebrities designed to remind us that while the Olympics are about the world coming together, they're also about babes in leotards and skating skirts.

''History of Sex: The Middle Ages'' (10 p.m., History Channel)
We're all here now, so somebody must have gotten some booty in Ancient Rome. But how? And at what cost? Narrator Peter Coyote takes you on a journey to sex and the (Renaissance) city.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

''Black Filmmakers Showcase'' (7:30 p.m., Showtime)
As studio pictures get unnecessarily longer (''Pearl Harbor,'' anyone?) short films seem more and more appealing. Six shorts show tonight, including provocative festival winner ''Flight of the Bumblebee.''

''Ed'' (8 p.m., NBC)
However will you prepare for Andy Richter's forthcoming return to TV? Well, by watching this death/rock themed episode in which Conan's former sidekick guest stars as Ed's former bandmate. Less confusing than it sounds, we promise.

''Dawson's Creek'' (8 p.m., The WB)
Before you say ''Is this %&*% still on the air?'' we implore you to witness Dawson's foray into student moviemaking in this episode, appropriately entitled, ''Dawson: Guerrilla Filmmaker.'' And if that's not enough, gay Jack is having yet another crisis in his frat house. Shocking, right?

''Video Voyeur: The Susan Wilson Story'' (9 p.m., Lifetime)
You know how you seem to watch the same Lifetime movies over and over again no matter when you turn on the TV? Well, that's not possible, as tonight's thriller is brand new. Angie Harmon always feels like somebody's watching her. And guess what? Jamey Sheridan is not only watching -- he's videotaping!

Thursday, Feb. 7

''Friends'' (8 p.m., NBC)
Joey wants Rachel to be his valentine. But so does Ross. My question is, don't these dudes know that she's already married to Brad Pitt?

''Everybody Loves Alex 'Family Ties' Valentine's Marathon'' (9 p.m., Nick)
Little girls didn't want to date him -- think of all the talk about Reagan. And boys certainly didn't want to be him -- the neckties! But, Michael J. Fox charmed the pants off Courteney Cox, Tracy Nelson, and his own future wife, Tracy Pollan. So, you might learn something from this collection of Alex-in-love episodes.

''Will & Grace'' (9 p.m., NBC)
Owen (Matt Damon) is fierce and fiiiiine competition for Jack (Sean Hayes) as the two vie for a spot of New York's Gay Men Chorus. And Ben Affleck makes out with Will. Okay, so the last part's a lie.

''True Life: I'm Getting Plastic Surgery'' (10 p.m., MTV)
So, you're a 16-year-old girl and you like totally hate your nose. And you invite MTV to follow you around as you decide whether to go under the knife. But like, isn't that way too much B.N.J. exposure? Whatever. Fun for us!
