Yet another hit Disney Channel soundtrack, Jump In! seems designed as a junior-high workout tape and starter set of self-esteem bromides. The TV movie mirrors High School Musical (Corbin Bleu risks peer disapproval to join, here, a girls' jump-roping squad) but lacks onscreen crooning, so these rhythm-heavy anthems are mostly performed by an anonymous array of singers aping urban Top 40 styles. It's well produced, excruciatingly inspirational, and beats Kidz Bop XXIV if you've gotta put something on during peewee basketball practice.
