+ This year's Sundance Film Festival really had studios opening their wallets. The Weinstein Co.'s Harvey Weinstein made out like a bandit, spending $5-6 million with Fox Searchlight for the immigration drama La Misma Luna (with America Ferrera), plus a reported $2.5 mil with Lionsgate for the thriller Teeth and $3-4 mil with First Look Pictures for Dedication, a quirky Billy Crudup-Mandy Moore romance. The latter deal thrilled director Justin Theroux: ''No one's [usually] tripping over themselves to give first-time directors a chance.''... THINKFilm and City Lights Pictures dropped $4.5 mil on director David Wain's ensemble comedy The Ten (with Winona Ryder).... First Look shelled out nearly $3 mil for the Michael Douglas drama King of California.... And after Warner Independent bought family dramedy Clubland for $4 mil, Brenda Blethyn says her costars celebrated by ''running into my room and jumping on my bed!''
