The Hills: Season 1 (2007)

The Hills is the Laguna Beach spin-off where Lauren moves to L.A., interns at Teen Vogue, shops, parties, and hooks back up with fellow LB transfer Jason. It is the TV equivalent of cotton candy — fluffy, artificial, and totally addictive. EXTRAS A whole disc of interviews, deleted scenes, and those post-show MTV.com broadcasts makes painfully clear how much Lauren and her crew like their clothes, while giving ''insight'' into the cast's lives (Brian does stand-up, Heidi's from Colorado) and the lifestyles of the rich and aimless (Jason's typical day: shopping with Lauren, lunch, maybe a movie).
