With three gold albums, Relient K are the poster boys for faith-based pop-punk...or, as we call it, in excelsis emo. But on Five Score and Seven Years Ago, frontman Matt Thiessen, who once resisted romantic fare, is suddenly madly in love, making it hard to tell the God songs from his equally worshipful girlfriend tunes. The band pushes along at a rapid enough clip to nearly redeem his cloying romanticism — until the uncharacteristically ornate 11-minute finale, ''Deathbed,'' which makes it clear he has another new love: Sufjan Stevens.
