Working in the Caribbean for the summer, teenager Jenny (She's the Man's
Bynes) is ecstatic to find herself ''stranded'' on a deserted island with
her pop-star crush (The O.C.'s Carmack). So ecstatic that she never
reveals they're only footsteps from their resort. Bynes is believable as
a crazy fan in Lovewrecked, and star cameos (Kathy Griffin, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Fred
Willard) are hilarious, but in the end, the unrealistic plot
twists — conveniently, the search party never discovers them! — sink this
schmaltzy romantic comedy.
