I had been working in an aquarium store in New Jersey, worried about spending 38 bucks on a pair of jeans at the Gap, and thinking that if acting didn't work out I would learn how to import saltwater fish for the aquarium industry. I've always loved fish tanks. When I got the job [on 90210], oh, my God, I was so excited! I was 28 years old, playing 16. And I wasn't the oldest in the cast either. I just kept my mouth shut. I thought: If they're going to buy it, I'm going to sell it. [Today] I see the show and I'm like, ''What am I wearing? What's with that hairdo? Didn't I have a friend? Or a mirror?''
