QT devotees will be unsurprised to learn that the music from his half of Grindhouse — Quentin Tarantino' Death Proof — includes funk (Pacific Gas & Electric's slinky ''Staggolee''), surf guitar, soul, classic rock (T. Rex's ''Jeepster''), and snippets from other soundtracks (''Paranoia Prima,'' by Morricone himself). The end product is another testament to the quality — and volume — of Tarantino's record collection.
