Book Review

Little Pink Slips (2007)

EW's GRADE
C+

Details Release Date: Apr 02, 2007; Writer: Sally Koslow; Genre: Fiction; Publisher: Putnam

In Little Pink Slips, Sally Koslow, the ex-top editor of McCall's (who was kicked aside so Rosie O'Donnell could launch ill-fated Rosie) pens a roman á clef starring plus-size celeb — turned — magazine editor Bebe Blake.

Celebrity Cameos
Hugh Grant, Matt Lauer, Reese Witherspoon, and others pop up.

Bottom Line
Koslow's take on her faux Rosie is kid-glove but generally dead-on (heart-shaped face, tight clothes, big mouth). Still, nothing beats watching the real version on The View. C+
