[BOLD {LADY IN RED}] LaKisha ''loves wearing dresses,'' says ''Idol'' style guru Siggins. ''I didn't think it was that bad once she put it on. When I saw it on the hanger I was like, 'Oh. My. God.'''

Okay, so we've covered the sounds — now let's move onto the sights. Stylist to the Idol stars Miles Siggins called in to go over some of the best and not-so-best looks from Latin week. And thankfully, he put our minds at ease that there will be no one in chaps come Tuesday night.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Were you happy with how the contestants looked on Latin night?
MILES SIGGINS: A lot of it ended up being black and red — very fiery and Latin — without the intention of doing so. In LaKisha's case, it was all black and red.

Yeah, that dress was a bit much. When will she learn?
She loves wearing dresses. All she wants to do is wear dresses. She took everything J. Lo said to heart — she wanted to do the whole Latin thing. I didn't think it was that bad once she put it on. When I saw it on the hanger I was like, ''Oh. My. God.''

How much time do you actually get with each singer, and how much do they get to spend?
We get about two hours a week and they get $400 a week. The first season of the show they all got $350 a week, but since then it's been $400.

Let's talk about some looks I liked. For starters, Blake's red tuxedo shirt was hot.
Yes, the red shirt had a very Cuban feel. That's from Politix in the Beverly Center.

Did he get followed around the Beverly Center by tween fans?
It's weird because this year not so much. Some people recognize them. But a lot of younger kids are too scared to say anything, so their moms will come up and say their kid is a big fan.

Melinda's dress was incredible also. Was that custom-made for her?
I loved the dress but didn't like the hair. The dress was from Nordstrom's, actually. She tried on two dresses. The other one was fantastic too, but it was $1,900.

Jordin went very understated this week with black pants and that tan jacket, but she still managed to pull it off.
Jordin had a completely different outfit picked out for her but she wasn't that comfortable that day so she changed at the last minute. The original outfit was a really great black dress. This was something she had with her. It worked. It was very J. Lo, as well.

Simon called Haley out for the no-clothing strategy again. What did you make of that?
It was inappropriate for him to say that. But then again, she went and did the same thing again when the week before he made the same comment. You either jump in the fire or you jump out. But that is one of her assets. It's war at this stage. Get votes by any means necessary.

What are the challenges with dressing Phil and Chris? I seem to never remember what the heck they wore.
I liked Phil's outfit. The hooded jacket gave him a bit of an edge. He tends to look very normal no matter what you put him in, and this week he had some edge. Chris Richardson seems to have found the parameters he likes to be in with clothing. In previous weeks it normally took us a long time to shop, but this week he had it down pretty damn quickly.

I'm terrified of country week fashion. Do they all want cowboy hats?
I try to steer them as far away from that as possible. No cowboy boots. No cowboy hats. It gets too pantomimey. I always say, ''You're establishing images for yourselves, not showing you can wear costumes.''

Since you've spent the day shopping, what are some looks we'll see?
It's pretty eclectic and not necessarily country. If you look at someone like Carrie Underwood, she'll have on Jimmy Choos. Faith Hill doesn't dress country and western. Country has changed. It's a lot more public-friendly, which makes my life easier.
