After her soccer-star brother dies, Gracie (Carly Schroeder) aims to fill the familial void. ''It's 1978 New Jersey, so there are no girls' soccer teams,'' says Elisabeth Shue, who was the real-life inspiration for Gracie and produces and stars as the girl's mother. ''She fights to take his place on the team.'' The family connection doesn't stop there. Shue's brother, Andrew, plays the soccer coach, and her husband, Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth), directs. (June 1)
