Zach Braff calls this black comedy ''a mesh between the sensibilities of Arrested Development and Scrubs'' which makes sense since Development alum Jason Bateman costars as Chip Sanders, a wheelchair-bound scoundrel using dirty tricks to win his high school crush (Amanda Peet) from her irate husband (Braff). And despite a scene where he throws the disabled guy down a flight of stairs, the Scrubs star has no concerns about tarnishing his good-guy image. ''Luckily, Chip is a real d---,'' says Braff. ''He's a d--- in a wheelchair but he's still a d---.'' (May 11)
