Luke Wilson's ode to '70s comedies he plays an ex-con who helps save a retirement community has taken nearly a decade to get to the screen. ''I write longhand,'' says Wilson, who cast one brother as the heavy (Owen) and codirected with the other (Andrew), ''and I took the script to this typist. It came back at 239 pages, at $2.50 a page. Which I couldn't afford at the time.'' Thank you, Legally Blonde. (May 18)
