Doogie Howser he ain't. Rich kid Charlie Bartlett enrolls in a public high school and soon creates a drug operation for these anxious times selling antidepressants to his schoolmates from an office in the boys' bathroom. He ''becomes a psychiatrist for the kids, because their parents aren't really there for them,'' says Anton Yelchin (Alpha Dog), who plays Charlie opposite Robert Downey Jr.'s school principal. The movie, he says, is about a teenager whose confidence ''you'd love to have.''
