What happened when Norsemen came to our shores? According to this prefab Apocalyptoid adventure saga, a shipwrecked kid, left for dead by his marauding Viking kin on a wild North American continent circa A.D. 1000, was raised by gentle natives, then grew up to protect his adopted people when more marauding Viking kin arrived to ply their marauding Viking ways. Pathfinder's moody, muddy look is courtesy of music-video director Marcus Nispel, who doesn't distinguish between people and tree trunks when it comes to emotional content.
