The turbulent marriage of composer Kurt Weill (a convincing Michael Cerveris) and singer/actress/muse Lotte Lenya (Donna Murphy) drives this bio musical, loaded with Weill songs. The couple bicker across three decades and two continents, but we never learn what keeps them together. The tepid romance is further undermined by Harold Prince's listless staging, which leaves dead air between songs and scenes. Still, Murphy's darkly alluring renditions of ''Surabaya Johnny'' and ''September Song'' almost make the ponderous LoveMusik worth seeing. Almost. C-
