Harry and the Hendersons

Cute and fuzzy was strictly an Ewok domain before Oscar-winning F/X guru Rick Baker transformed a pile of fur and latex into the loveable lead in Harry and the Hendersons, the story of a family man (John Lithgow) who brings a Bigfoot named Harry (Kevin Peter Hall) to his home in the suburbs. The impressiveness of the creature is only matched by Hall's ability to genuinely emote through the prosthetics. EXTRAS In the new making-of featurette, Baker reveals the mechanics behind creating Harry and the symbiotic relationship between the puppeteers who gave him expression. The doc concludes with a narrator insisting that ''Bigfoot exists...but don't get too close. He smells funky.'' B
