Adrienne Shelly's delectable Dixie screwball romp never loses its spry sense of discovery, mixing flavors as brazenly as Jenna (Keri Russell), a pregnant diner waitress, does in her pies. What lifts the audience is the portrait of Jenna awakening to the life inside her.
